The IBM call center employee (22 years) was supposedly gangraped and is undergoing treatments at Sassoon general hospital. A psychiatrist is helping her to get recovered from mental trauma. Ravindrasinh Pardeshi Deputy Superintendent of police (Haveli division) is investigating this case. TOI told that the police were even not capable to record the victim’s statement because she continued to be in a state of shock.

Pardeshi said the police want to record her statement to confirm the authenticity of the first information report (FIR) lodge by her boyfriend, Hansraj Brahmne. On Monday, the police again interrogated some people including IBM employees, saying that inquiry was at a critical stage.

This is such a sad story. We just hope that they will be able to get hold of the criminals and hope that the woman recovers.

Crimes like this are exactly why the government should execute programs that protect outsourcing employees that work nights. This industry contributes greatly to a country’s economy, and should be given equal care and protection.
