The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation has decided to provide air conditioned Volvo bus service for the route of Pune-Aurangabad-Pune. They have similar successful services before this plan for the routes of Pune-Nashik-Pune and Pune-Mumbai-Pune.
There will be four Volvo buses on this routes from which two were started from Monday and other two will run from 23rd April. There will be eight departures each from Pune and Aurangabad between 6am to 11pm per day.
All the buses will leave from Shivajinagar bus stand at 6am, 11am, 4pm and 8.30pm. After addition of remaining two buses there will be four more trips at 8am, 1pm, 6pm and 11pm. The journey of Pune to Aurangabad or Aurangabad to Pune will be completed in four hours and will have pickup halt at Yerwada and a single halt at Ahmednagar.
While, the service is receiving very good response and around 40 commuters travelled from Aurangabad to Pune for the first trip of 6am. MSRTC is also providing reservation facility that the commuters can get it at every center of MSRTC.

i want to suggest that to msrtc plz run advance bokking counter at ahmednagar also.
it has a good potential in nagar also.
plz reserve 10 to 15 seats for nagar only.

Its very good news,Volvo bus started from pune to Aurangabad.Pune-Mumbai Volvo service is very good…..Keep this service Aurangabad route also…(Not for season)

Also, I’d like to see online booking for Pune-Aurangabad Volvo Bus service.
Increasing number of Volvo buses would work too!

yes isr i also want to suggest to please open advance reservation counter in pune nagar and aurangabad please it a request , but please keep the quata system to for nagar also in advance booking

Sir, First I should thanks MSRTC, for a great decision. I want to suggest that it should compete with the Private Tourists Operators on all front including Phone Booking, On-line booking, reasonable fare and halt at Smile Stone near Ahmednagar

Witout conductor recently started had big Loss to State tarnsport as well as passangers who wants to avial the facility in between stages . I have to go at ST Stand only which is not possible as we generally travel from waluj.

Please follow state govt. to pardon the toll for all State transport and public transports.
Public transports are the only easy way of transport for A COMMON MAN.
Pune Aurangabad Volvo service is good.Make it;s tickets available at private tourist bookies.
