Script-Writing and Acting Course by BVU

Bharartiya VidyapeethThe Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University is going to launch new courses of one year certificate course from this academic year. These one year certificate course will include acting and script writing for TV serials and theatre and other pleasurable courses in music, drama and dance.Professor Sharandhar Sathe, director, School of performing arts has announced about theses courses.

The courses such as acting and drams are meant to encourage and to guide the youngsters to choose the scriptwriting and acting as a career. Fees for this course will be Rs 10,000 for a year and there will be limited 15 seats. However, the number may increase upon the demand. The interested people between 18 to 40 years of age are eligible to take admission and the course is open to the general public.

There is another announcement of course of month-long-part-appreciation course where the educated audience will be created. The classes of this course will be held on weekends only. General public can take this opportunity to build their career. However, the fee for this course is not decided yet.

There will be theoretical and practical content for the module of two courses. Theater writer Makarand Sathe and senior theatre artist Madhav Vaze have helped to design this whole set of courses.

The forms for this course will be available from June 4.
